SHIFT

Today.  Beautiful Breeze blowing.  Evening settling upon us.  The day is cooling, preparing for the shift of the night sky.  I’m looking forward to it actually. Sunset, early evening is my favorite part of the day. Completion. That’s what this time of day signifies to me.  Another day completed, successfully.  Still in one piece.  Tired, yes!  Long day, Yes!  But I was able to experience it as were you and for THAT, I’m Grateful.  How about you?

SHIFT.

I want to talk a little bit about shifting.  Earlier in the week I was going through a mundane moment while scrolling on YouTube.  As I scrolled, I came across a video of someone that I watch from time to time.  In here video, she too was expressing how she’s been feeling.  “Soul Tired” is how she described how she felt.  I can ABSOLUTELY relate to her sentiments.  Tired, but oh so much more than just needing a nap. Needing more than words are able to express. As she continued to speak, she said The Lord came to her rescue as He so often does.  I love when He does that 😊

“Stick With The Plan, Not with Your Feelings.”  This is the phrase that she shared that the Lord so gently whispered to her exhausted, wearied, yearning soul. I heard it, wrote it down but my spirit and soul grabbed it.  He was shifting her.

Today.

Today, that phrase came in handy.  I needed a shift. Sometimes the wrestle that we have is not the devil, demons, spirits or any of those things; although they can influence how we feel.  At times, though, we are simply weary from existing and waiting. Waiting for what’s next.  Waiting for the baby to be born.  Waiting for the promotion. Waiting for God to move.  Waiting for the Job and the list can go on and on.  We get weary.  Tired.  But, we must:

“Stick With The Plan, Not with Your Feelings.

SHIFT!

Me, writing this blog piece right now, accomplishing all the other tasks of the day/evening, making an effort to push for the future, believe in hope against hope is me, ‘sticking with the plan and not with my feelings.’ SHIFTING.

So, friend, I encourage you, PUSH!!  I know.  But still. PUSH. You shall reap if you tire not. Allow room for the shift. Will see you again next week Wednesday. Love you and remember:

LOVE GOD. LOVE YOURSELF. SO YOU CAN LOVE OTHERS
