REPENTANCE = METANOIA = CHANGE

 REPENTANCE = Metanoia = CHANGE

The way we’ve been created is with a built-in system of Metanoia. Metanoia is a Greek word that means to change one’s mind; to expand it in such a way as to have a new perspective on the world or one’s self.” (Mirriam-Webster)

I never looked at Change/Repentance this way before. But as I was preparing to write this morning, that is the revelation that came to me. Mankind is always looking to Change, innovate, update, and improve. Even the very electronics we love so much and that are essential for the movements of our modern society, for optimal and optimum functionality, must be updated and is at times done without our permission. It’s just automatic!!

Here's another interesting fact. Our social media platforms are referred to as Meta. “Meta” is derived from Metanoia. Remember, Metanoia means to change one’s mind; to expand it in such a way as to have a new perspective on the world and one’s self.” Their intention is “to build the future of human connection and the technology that makes it possible.” (meta.com/about) Isn’t that interesting? 

My question is, what 'technology' makes connection possible? And to what, who are we trying to connect to? There is nothing wrong with our desire to advance, grow and exceed. That’s what we are made to do. We were made in the image of a God who is exactly that and gave the command to do that. The problem comes in when we try to alter or resist our innate mainframe that needs constant Repentance/Change through its proper source, realm, dimension and reality in order for us to function at our Highest which is Divine.

We were never made to exist, expand or function outside of relationship to our Father, our Creator because He is the one who initiates and unction’s our updates. It is by the promptings of His Spirit that we know, “Oh, now, It’s Time For Change.” Repentance. Metanoia. Which simply means to change our minds, to change the way we think.  

On September 17th,2025 at 7:45am I was given that prompting. It went something like this:

“Change. You need to Change. I need to Change. Renew. Transform. That does not mean that there is something wrong with me. But it DOES mean that for where, why, what, when, who and how I’m Growing…I NEED TO BECOME MORE!!”

Now that I know and understand the word Metanoia, the prompting that I received that day is taking more shape and form. My Creator is prompting me to, “change my mind and EXPAND it in such a way that I am provided with a NEW perspective of Myself and the world.” This is a reboot, an override, fresh eyes, altered mind and reality. This is a Divine Set up for My Creator to do what He said He is able to do…’exceedingly and abundantly more than I could ask or imagine.’ Some other versions of this scripture used words like think, pray, hope, dream, understand. (Ephesians 3:20)

So, this Change, this Repentance, this Metanoia happens internally in the place of our ask, prayers, understanding, hopes, dreams and imagination. Our inner man must be built up and prepared for Change. Prepared to at least receive the word and let that Spoken Word now seed, germinate, take root and begin to sprout a Righteous shoot called Change. What that Change, what that Metanoia looks like, functions as, I can GUARANTEE is everything Good. May not feel like it, taste like it and with our natural eye, look like it but, The One who created our mainframes,  He knows what He’s doing. Are you Ready? I Am 😉
