GIANTS...SLAY THEM!!!

As I prepared to write for this week’s entry, there were so many happenings happening around me. ¹1Some seen, most unseen. Either way, REAL.

#CHANGE has been the theme for the last couple of postings.  The reason for that is because I believe we are in a season of “Change” and what we do during this time and season is firstly, what we ought to do, and secondly, what dictates many things concerning forward movement in all areas of life.  

GIANTS. This is where I’ve landed. Giants can be representative of many things.  Obstacles, refusal to deal with a noun, a mindset, attitude, weakness and the list goes on.  Giants are formidable.  Giants are bigger than we are according to the accepted definition.  Giants are something we’d acknowledge as a “rather not” space.

But here’s the thing.  My Giants know me and your Giants know you.  In the lesson of 1Samuel in the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth manual (Bible), Goliath was a Giant and he knew his opponents.  His opponent wasn’t just a person, but it was a Nation!! How many of us think that our Giants are simply after us, when in reality, they are after the Nations in your Belly!?!  How many of us, myself included, are coming to the acceptance of the fact that the Words in your Womb that must prosper, are in danger because of the Dragon that wants to devour them as soon as you give birth?  

It's the Truth you know! In the book of Revelation 12, the dragon was waiting for the Woman to give birth and as soon as she did, that dragon was intent on destroying her seed. If it wasn’t for the God of the Stones, the same God who empowered the stones of King David in the lesson of 1Samuel 17 that slew his Giant, that baby, of Revelation 12, those nations, would’ve been devoured!

Once made aware of the Giants in our lives, if you were like me, we’d delay to deal with them.  We wait.  We put it off.  We sum it up as not that big of a deal.  Cowardice.  Fear.  Intimidation.  These are just a few of the Giants that are at the Root of the now manifested Giant(s) that we are looking at in our lives.  The Truth is, that until we are “in” the person of readiness, courage, ability, The Person of The Christ, we will continue to delay our own realization.  There is NO REAL VICTORY outside of The King of Kings!!

Here’s another nugget.  Giants aren’t really an issue at all!! Giants are made to MAKE YOU MANIFEST!! Either this way or that!  What’s inside of you will manifest.  What’s not inside of you, will manifest. And, what ought to be inside of you, will manifest. Giants are a manifestation tool; meant for your betterment, not your shame.

Today, I was taken back to a time in my life when I was faced with the opportunity to manifest seed(s) that was positioned inside of me before I was formed in my mothers’ womb.  I didn’t birth it at that time and season. #CHANGE is required.

I believe I was reminded today of my times past to show me that those same Giants of Cowardice, Fear and Intimidation are still alive, and will thrive if I don’t SLAY THEM!! They will keep showing themselves at appointed times of labor and delivery, causing DIS-appointment (missing my appointed appointments), miscarriages and still born births until I “Do Anyway” what my Giant is telling me that I can’t.  SLAY THEM!!  Obedience is better than Sacrifice.  Face your Giants of today so that you won’t have to face them tomorrow. (1Samuel 15:15; 1Samuel 30: 17, 18)

I’m rooting for you!! We can Do It because it’s been done already for Us! For He has ‘rescued us’ by ‘disarming the powers and authorities, triumphing over them.’ Though they may ‘come against us with sword and spear and javelin, The King, when we are in Him will ‘always cause US to Triumph!”.  (Col. 1:13, 15; 2Cor. 2:14; 1Sam. 17:45)

SHIFT

Today.  Beautiful Breeze blowing.  Evening settling upon us.  The day is cooling, preparing for the shift of the night sky.  I’m looking forward to it actually. Sunset, early evening is my favorite part of the day. Completion. That’s what this time of day signifies to me.  Another day completed, successfully.  Still in one piece.  Tired, yes!  Long day, Yes!  But I was able to experience it as were you and for THAT, I’m Grateful.  How about you? SHIFT. Did God Really Say??

Approaching the end of the year and I don’t know about you, but it has been some kind of year! Although we give thanks in every situation, can we talk about it?  Today is November 27, 2025, 5:10pm.  It was a really long day for me; even though the days and nights seem shorter only because they seem like run on sentences these days.  This too shall pass.   I’m learning the realities of warfare and how much we encounter it sometimes even without our knowing.  For me, I’m thinking about how many times in my life I thought I was just having a bad day when really, now looking back at it, there was heavy warfare going on!! Sometime in our sojourn here on this earth, in this world, sticking and staying can be the hardest part.
