Did God Really Say??

Approaching the end of the year and I don’t know about you, but it has been some kind of year! Although we give thanks in every situation, can we talk about it?  Today is November 27, 2025, 5:10pm.  It was a really long day for me; even though the days and nights seem shorter only because they seem like run on sentences these days.  This too shall pass.  

I’m learning the realities of warfare and how much we encounter it sometimes even without our knowing.  For me, I’m thinking about how many times in my life I thought I was just having a bad day when really, now looking back at it, there was heavy warfare going on!!

Sometime in our sojourn here on this earth, in this world, sticking and staying can be the hardest part. Sticking to a routine, staying grounded, sticking to the plan, staying focused, sticking to my goals, staying rooted in what, and who I believe.  These things affect our day to day whether we realize it or not.  More and more, I’m seeing how real the battlefield of the mind is and how there is truly, NOTHING new under the sun.

The thought of the first Woman, Eve, came to me today. I discovered that Eve’s mistake, though grave, is quite common to the human. ANYONE!! When I took a closer look at what really happened, I discovered that her mistake was simply, entertaining a contrary thought. She had a plan, instructions, and information, but that information, plan, and instructions was challenged by another set of plans, instructions and information. Eve is not the only person who was approached in this manner.  Jesus Christ, himself, was also offered another thought, another way, contrary information.  In both cases, the information that was suggested was not necessarily a lie, but it was a lie to each of the hearers.

Did God really say??? If you be the Son of God?? How many times a day does second-guessing happen to you?  For me, lately, WAY TOO MUCH!!! However, what I’ve learned is that this is normal.  I must be propositioned.  I must be “asked.” The issue is not in the question, but rather my response, and subsequent action. Did God really say move to that place? If you really are anointed…? Did God really say He loves you? He won’t leave you? Did God really say marry that person? Did God really say…? If you really are talented…? If you really are blessed, then why are you broke? If you really are favored, why is your situation saying otherwise? Sound familiar??

Why was the information, plans, and instructions being challenged? What was hidden therein? How important was it for both of these individuals to stick and stay? I don’t think I need to go into details because we know who these people were/are and how important their mission was in and on the earth. To the World at large!! So, then, the same questions can be posed to me and to you? Why does our one enemy come with counterfeit thoughts, plans, instructions, and information? How important are you, the instructions, plans, and information that have already been given to you in the grand scheme of God?  Enjoy that Thought Food 😊

The fight is on and it won’t stop just because we want it to. You will be Bombarded!! That’s the word that came to me today.  If you don’t know what it means, Good!  Homework Time! Look it up! I love to give assignments. This is the word that spoke to me today to shine some light on what I was dealing with and facing for some time. However, I can stop the fight on my side by allowing My Father to “teach my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.” Yes! He Really Did Say That!! |Psalms 144:1|

 

I can use what I already know, what He already said.  Is it always easy? No, it’s not. Sometimes the strength to even utter a counter attack of confession, praise, worship, is so difficult. But, ‘if I gotta birth you gotta birth too!! In the words of my dear sister Ariel. We must PUSH!! Push to say Thank you Abba. Push to say “I am more than a conqueror.” Push to give that sacrifice of praise. Push to say, “Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy comes in the morning.” Good Morning!!

 

Hard at times? Yes. But it gets easier and when it doesn’t, we have a High Priest, who has passed through the earth and the heavens and declared, “IT IS FINISHED!!” Agree with Him and thank Him for being made perfect in strength when you are weak because, He Finished.

 

Well, that’s it for now. Be patient in endurance. For that is what is needed now. Let patience have it’s perfect work and let perseverance produce much fruit unto righteousness. Love you with the ONLY Love that’s REAL! Christs’ Love.
